Three airports belonging to Indonesia have entered the list of the most pleasant airports in the world
lacrymosemedia.com – Airport Service Quality Awards announced the list of the best airports based on user reviews. The list released on March 6, 2023 reveals that the list includes three airports belonging to Indonesia.
Airports Council International (ACI) trade group and travel technology company Amadeus announced the winner of the award based on a survey of passengers on the day of travel, which launched CNN on Tuesday (7/3). By 2022, about 465,000 surveys have been collected.
The survey looked at 30 factors, including check-in experience, ease of navigation, and shopping and dining offerings. “The ASQ program not only measures and benchmarks, but also enables airports of all sizes to learn and improve quality to reach new heights in customer experience excellence,” said Luis Felipe de Oliveira, CEO of ACI World.
The following are the airports in all regions and the categories of the number of passengers who received the award:

Meanwhile, Rome’s Fiumicino is among the most popular on the list of major airports, serving more than 40 million passengers annually. In addition to receiving awards for overall quality, the airport has also been recognized for cleanliness and friendliness with dedicated staff.
Singapore Changi Airport also received additional awards for its dedicated staff and ease of passenger flights. Later, Istanbul Airport received awards for being clean and pleasant in addition to awards for overall quality.
Of the 69 airports that received the ASQ award for overall quality, 24 were in Europe, 22 in the Asia-Pacific region, 11 in North America, five in Latin America or the Caribbean, four in Africa and three in the Middle East.
There is no single winner in a region or airport size group; awards are given to the top 20 percent of airports in each size and area category. ACI also introduced four new categories this year: airports with the most loyal staff, easiest airport travel, most pleasant airports and cleanest airports.
